Currently housed in a highly visible location on the corner of HWY 96 and Davis Road,

the art center is working hard to be a strong defining feature for the small town of Happy Camp, California

As the recipient of a large building and design grant the art center is a 501(c)(3) non profit fundraising to raise further local and outside funds to realize an ambitious new building project that will combine small diameter roundwood framing with light earth wood-chip infill.

By using local resources and building new construction technology, the art center hopes to be a powerful revitalizing force for the local economy as well as a demonstration of the benefits of an entirely new form of building and of course a fun and exciting place to gather and explore.
